Construction cleaning is part of the project schedule. During works, the priority is usable work areas; before handover, it is the agreed cleanliness of finished surfaces. One final clean does not replace interim cleaning while trades are still working.

Final handover cleaning
01
Possible scope by agreement
Collect coarse dirt and agreed loose material residues in released areas.
Remove construction dust from suitable, accessible floors and surfaces after identifying their materials.
Specify fine cleaning, glazing and sanitary areas for the particular property.
02
Prepare your enquiry
Provide the address, approximate area, floors and current construction stage.
Describe plans or useful photos, sensitive materials and trades still working on site.
Agree access, water, power, storage areas and preferred cleaning windows.
Waste disposal, work at difficult heights, hazardous-material remediation and repairing construction damage are not automatically included. Unknown residues and particularly sensitive surfaces need assessment before cleaning.
Outcome and handover
A joint visual check of the agreed areas is useful. Outstanding work and new dirt from subsequent trades are recorded separately; cleaning does not replace a technical construction inspection.
What determines a suitable quote?
Area alone is not enough for a reliable estimate. Construction stage, materials, soiling, access, timing and agreed extras affect the work involved. A site visit or further details may be needed; the price is set in the specific quote.
