Site clearance concerns defined work areas and clearly identified leftover materials. Before work starts, establish what must stay, what may be moved and who handles transport or disposal.
Clear work areas
Sort materials
Agree waste handling separately
01
Possible scope by agreement
Collect agreed loose residues and place them according to the defined sorting plan.
Clear work areas and access routes within the released zone.
Agree collection points, container access and any relocation of materials in advance.
02
Prepare your enquiry
Describe material types, approximate quantities and heavy or bulky items.
Clearly establish ownership and permission to clear the materials.
Agree containers, vehicle access, lifts or carrying routes and the responsible disposal provider.
Clearance does not automatically include removal from site or disposal. Unknown, hazardous or potentially contaminated materials need identification and separate specialist assessment before work. Demolition and dismantling are not standard inclusions.
Outcome and handover
At completion, review the agreed areas, remaining materials and any outstanding transport or disposal tasks together.
What determines a suitable quote?
Area alone is not enough for a reliable estimate. Construction stage, materials, soiling, access, timing and agreed extras affect the work involved. A site visit or further details may be needed; the price is set in the specific quote.
