Interim cleaning supports transitions between construction stages or trades. It helps organise the site before work on floors, fittings or surfaces continues. Scope and repeat visits depend on actual progress.
Dust and dirt
Agreed phases
Preparation for subsequent work
01
Possible scope by agreement
Remove loose dirt and agreed residues from released construction sections.
Clean accessible work surfaces and routes within the agreed area.
Coordinate recurring cleaning windows with site management and subsequent trades.
02
Prepare your enquiry
Mark completed and still-active areas on the plan.
Identify dust-producing work and the next construction tasks.
Agree protective coverings, restricted areas and a responsible contact person.
Interim cleaning is not a dust-free final inspection. Ongoing sanding, drilling or fitting work can soil cleaned areas again. Trade-specific safety, containment and technical dust extraction remain separate responsibilities.
Outcome and handover
At handover, check whether the agreed areas are prepared for the next task. If the construction schedule changes, revise the cleaning visit and scope in advance.
What determines a suitable quote?
Area alone is not enough for a reliable estimate. Construction stage, materials, soiling, access, timing and agreed extras affect the work involved. A site visit or further details may be needed; the price is set in the specific quote.
